The Catholic Diocese of Ijebu-Ode currently has over 30 seminarians training for the Catholic priesthood. With the sum of $1,000 US Dollars or #250,000 Nigerian naira, you will be able to sponsor a Seminarian for one year in the Seminary. It takes nine (9) years to train a seminarian. Education is one of the ways the early missionaries that came to Ijebu-Ode diocese used to spread the Good News. Late Bishop Anthony Saliu Sanusi and Late Bishop Albert Fasina, the former Bishops of Ijebu-Ode diocese were converts from Islamic religion who later in life became Catholics, priests and Bishops. The diocese still use education as a major means of evangelization. We currently have eight (8) elementary schools and four (4) high schools. We provide free education for many of the children in these schools. You can join us in training a child in school. Click here to be part of this project.
